Program Description:

The Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education is open to matriculated graduate students or individuals who have already earned their MS Nursing. The certificate is designed for individuals who are interested in becoming nursing faculty. It is expected that applicants have an area of expertise in nursing from which to base their teaching. Graduate students enrolled in the master's degree programs will develop knowledge and skills in community health, family, or gerontological nursing. Post-master's students already possess an area of expertise or specialization.
