Education - Childhood and Early Childhood
Binghamton University's pre-service program in Childhood and Early Childhood Education is a new and innovative Master’s program. The degree leads to several New York State teaching certifications, allowing graduates to work with children from birth through grade six in a number of roles. During this two-year, full-time program, you will take courses and work with children in several different fieldwork and student teaching placements. You will have opportunities to make connections between theory and practice, while developing the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to help all students to be successful in school. You will have the guidance of top-tier professors and highly-qualified teachers in early childhood programs and partnership schools. This will help you to become an educator with unique goals and an ability to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. We invite you to explore the Binghamton University Department of Education website to learn more about the program.
