M.A. in Educational Technology students prepare to create powerful learning experiences enhanced by the latest digital technologies—in schools, online, at work—wherever people learn. Whether teaching Web design to middle school students, writing new articles for Wikipedia or coding educational plug-ins for WordPress, learning happens inside and outside of the classroom. Students in the program in educational technology learn to: —Design and code interactive media for learning —Teach with the latest digital tools —Critique the role of technology in schools and society —Engage with the local community to impact education in New York City and Long Island
