In response to increased demand for highly competent technicians in translational research, we have developed this non-thesis Master of Science in Histopathology program to prepare students to conduct biomedical research, including basic molecular and cell biology techniques, as well as use animal models effectively and ethically in preclinical research. Students complete the program in as little as 21-months and will be qualified for jobs in research laboratories, in both the pharmaceutical industry and academic laboratories, or pathology laboratories in hospitals and private facilities. In addition, graduates will be well-prepared to enter a doctoral, medical, dental or veterinary program, should they choose to continue their education.
Students will have the unique opportunity to participate in clinical or research internships as part of this program.
