Program Description:

Are you passionate about creating change at the systems level and improving healthcare for patients everywhere? The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at Dartmouth offers several accelerated on-campus and online degree programs for achieving your career goals:

  • 11-month Master of Public Health (MPH) | Format: on-campus
  • 22-month Master of Public Health (MPH) | Format: online/hybrid with six week-long sessions on campus
  • 11-month Master of Science (MS) in Healthcare Research | Format: on-campus

At Dartmouth, we prepare leaders in the measurement, organization, and improvement of health and health care. Our master's degree programs build upon a rigorous core curriculum that provides an understanding of the challenges facing the U.S. healthcare system and a firm grounding in the skills required to evaluate and improve public health and healthcare. Students will receive a foundation in epidemiology and biostatistics, outcomes research, health decision making, health economics, and health care improvement. Students enter this program with a wide range of academic backgrounds with majors including, English, Economics, Psychology, History, Math, Geography, Sociology, Biology, Chemistry, and a host of others.

Eligibility Requirements:
