Program Description:

In partnership with the Peace Corps, Antioch University New England offers the opportunity to combine Peace Corps service with master’s or doctoral study in the Department of Environmental Studies as part of the Peace Corps Master’s International program. Earn 12 credits, tuition-free, while serving as a Peace Corps volunteer and pursuing your passion in international community work and environmental studies. AUNE will also waive your admissions fee, and $1,500 in student fees while you are overseas. Please note: US citizenship is one of the requirements for Peace Corps service. Therefore, only citizens of the United States can apply for this program. The Peace Corps Master’s International program gives students customized curriculum and training in technical skills and community development leading to successful community-based work in the Peace Corps. While serving as Peace Corps volunteers, Master’s International students conduct their master’s or doctoral research. They receive guidance from an AUNE faculty with deep experience and close ties to ongoing international research initiatives in Africa, Central America, and elsewhere.
