B.A. & M.A.T. DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM IN EDUCATION

Master’s Degree in Teaching, Nevada Teaching License

Get a Bachelors Degree, a Nevada Teaching License, and a Masters Degree on an accelerated schedule.

The Teacher Education Dual Degree program includes 10 course credits which are applied to both your undergraduate and graduate degrees, so the total number of credits required is reduced to 157 from 167 (120 undergraduate + 47 graduate). All graduate level classes are held after school hours, so you can finish your M.A.T. degree coursework while you are already working as a teacher.

Details of the program sequence are in the Sierra Nevada College UNDERGRADUATE CATALOG > under Department of Teacher Education > Master of Arts in Teaching – Dual Degree Program.
