Program Information

Degrees Offered:

Environmental Studies

Format: Campus

Program Description:

For over 40 years EVST has trained students serious about the world's--and our region's--environmental concerns. EVST offers a flexible and thoroughly interdisciplinary approach. Students are largely responsible for structuring their course of study with their EVST advisor as well as with faculty from throughout the campus. We offer specialized training in environmental justice; environmental policy; environmental writing; globalization; land, water and wildlife conservation; sustainable agriculture; transboundary conservation; and water resources, as well as combinations of these areas and other areas students may design. Our tradition is providing students with the skills and tools to promote social change that benefits the environment and the human communities within it.
