Program Description:

The family and community health program offers a skills-based program which integrates theory and critical thinking to assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities. Students learn to plan, implement and evaluate programming designed to promote health, human development and well-being. The sustainable food systems program focuses on sustainable food production, food preparation and processing, distribution, nutrition, and community food security in order for students to better understand how food systems influence health.
