Program Description:

The College Counseling and Student Development program will prepare you for work in a two-year or four-year college or university setting and develop a set of skills essential for a student services professional in higher education. You will learn the concepts and standards of the American College Personnel Association and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, which are woven into the program so that you can integrate helping skills, student development theory, current research findings and practical application. Faculty and staff have broad educational and experiential backgrounds and will help you gain an understanding of working as a student services professional.
