Program Description:

The Ph.D. degree requires four fields: economics (courses taken in the Economics Department), major field in agricultural economics (agribusiness strategy and management, agricultural markets and price analysis, environmental and resource economics, or international agricultural development), and two minor fields (one in agricultural economics).

Two M.S. degrees are offered: Plan A--minimum 30 credits with a 6-credit thesis and no minor field, and Plan B--minimum 33 credits with a 3-credit research paper and a 6-credit minor field.
