M.S.-Health Services Administration, MBA Certificate in Health Services Administration
The Master of Science in Health Services Administration program is designed for the student who is interested in working in a business management position in a health care organization in a mid-level administrative position. The program prepares practicing health care professionals for leadership positions across the full spectrum of business health care settings. We develop leaders who are able to use health care information systems to allocate resources more effectively, balance patient care needs with the financial restraints of the organization, evaluate the effectiveness of quality measurement techniques on patient satisfaction and care, integrate organizational change techniques in order to offer safe, efficient, timely, and patient-centered care, and consider health care legal issues related to the delivery of patient care.
Admission to the MS in Health Services Administration program is determined on the basis of the following criteria:
Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. (An average of less than 3.0 will be reviewed for conditional admission.)
Two letters of recommendation from current employer or professional associates familiar with the applicant's work or college performance.
Full-time employment, at least three out of the last five years. International students unable to pursue full-time employment in the United States while complet-ing a graduate degree may be admitted to the program if the student has prior substantive full-time work experience.

International Student Requirements:
1. Official school records including subject studied, grades and degrees earned, graduation dates and copy of diploma - Students are required to submit an official transcript of credits from each institute, college, or university attended. - applicants may be required to submit transcript evaluation result by World Education Services (WES) or Education Credential Evaluation (ECE) 2. Official test results indicating English proficiency. - TOEFL score of at least 550 (Paper-Based), 79-80 (Internet Based); MELAB score of 77, or IELTS score of 6.5.; - Applicants who do not meet this requirement will be required to take an English placement test administered by Madonna University. Based on the test result, students may be considered for conditional admission and be required to take English language classes. - This requirement is waived for applicants from countries where English is the native language.
