Program Description:

The Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) program will give you the skills to take your career to the next level. Our interdisciplinary program integrates engineering and business courses, including core courses in engineering administration, quality assurance, and the economic impact of engineering decisions. You can earn your degree in as little as one year. If you choose to take longer, our flexible format will allow you to pursue your studies based on your schedule. Four 11-week terms are offered annually – fall (September), winter (January), spring (April), and summer (July). MSEM Program Structure Engineering Core Courses (four courses - 12 cr.) EMGT 607 Quality Engineering (3 cr.) EMGT 615 Statistical Quality Control (3 cr.) EMGT 619 Supply Chain Management and Logistics (3 cr.) EMGT 648 Project Management (3 cr.) or EMGT 605 Engineering Management (3 cr.) In addition to the required four core courses (12 credit hours) above, students can expand their technical knowledge in keeping with their interest and professional needs by selecting any graduate level course in engineering management. A student may also select a maximum of three graduate courses from the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
