Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
Mental Health Counselors are highly trained healthcare professionals whose focus is to treat individuals with a variety of emotional, social and behavioral needs.
The Regis College Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program will provide you with the skills you need to become an effective practitioner, prepared to meet the increasing demand for qualified mental health counselors to serve in hospitals, social service agencies, mental health centers and private companies.
The Regis Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology Program adheres to the scientist-practitioner-advocate training model (Fassinger & O'Brien, 2000) in preparing you for employment in academic, research and/or service delivery settings.
Our field placements are developmentally matched to individual students' strengths, growth areas, and clinical interests. All field placements are paired with clinical seminars in which students receive additional supervision and support for their growth as counselors-in-training.
