Program Description:

The College of Engineering at Northeastern University offers an interdisciplinary PhD program in Bioengineering. The program draws on faculty across the University and reflects the significant strengths of bioengineering research in multiple areas. Students accepted to the program will complete a rigorous core curriculum in basic bioengineering science followed by completion of an immersion track curriculum. There are currently seven tracks from which to choose:


- Track 0 - General Bioengineering Studies

- Track I - Biomedical Imaging and Signal Processing (BISP)

- Track II - Biomechanics and Mechanobiology

- Track III - BioMEMs/BioNano

- Track IV - Biochemical Engineering and Bioenvironmental Engineering (BEBE)

- Track V - Motor Control

- Track VI - Biocomputing
