Program Description:

Lasell College offers a degree pathway for students to complete a Master of Science in Athletic Training in conjunction with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science or Health Science. Students have the option of completing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science or Health Science in a 3-year accelerated format or a traditional 4-year format.

The Master of Science in Athletic Training is a 2-year professional program composed of 63 graduate credits including 5- clinical education experiences.

Why M.S. in Athletic Training?

Beginning in 2022, students must enroll in a CAATE accredited graduate program to be eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. Lasell is taking a forward-thinking approach by proactively transitioning our program to a Master of Science in Athletic Training. 

Lasell's courses are taught by industry leaders with years of experience in Athletic Training, Nutrition, Fitness and Health Science. Our curriculum takes a holistic approach to Athletic Training in our brand-new Science and Technology center with specially designed health and biology labs and strength and conditioning rooms.
Admission Requirements for two‐year program:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Preferred GPA: 3.0
  • A "C" or better in all pre-requisite courses is preferred

Candidates seeking admission to MS in Athletic Training graduate degree programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate through academic experience the ability to succeed in graduate studies. GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission. The TOEFL may be waived for international applicants who have earned a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. All other applicants must submit a TOEFL/IELTS score.
