Program Description:

Emerson's M.F.A. program in Creative Writing offers broad workshop experience in multiple genres: poetry, fiction, screenwriting, essay, and memoir. Students seek out Emerson specifically to take courses with our faculty of accomplished writers, scholars, and publishing professionals, and with our renowned writers-in-residence. This terminal degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue careers as writers in any of the creative media as well as those students focused on teaching writing at the college level.
