Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
Brandeis University’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program is designed for career-changers and recent college graduates who would like to take the necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions programs. Our post-bac students apply to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools as well as other health professions such as dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, or podiatry.
Our unique program, located nine miles from downtown Boston and world-famous medical facilities, uses Brandeis’ world-renowned science programs and state-of-the-art facilities as the foundation for two post-bac tracks:
- Career changer track (21 month program, fall start)
- Finisher track (15 month program, summer start in Organic Chemistry)
The Finisher Track is a special pathway for select non-science majors who have already successfully completed a full year of both General Chemistry and Biology with lab and a strong GPA in these courses to complete the pre-health requirements in 15 months.
Students in both tracks benefit from advising support, professional training, affordability, and consideration for our linkage with The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
