If you want to take advantage of the convergence of media and technology in a hands-on, innovative graduate program, then Media Ventures at Boston University is for you. We’ll teach you how to harness your innovation and strategy skills and bring those tools to market. Learn from industry leaders and media experts in courses such as Media in Evolution, Multi-Platform Entertainment Marketing, The Media Money Trail, and Emerging Media Studies. Your thesis project will be based on creating a new company or innovation for an existing media company.
You’ll spend one year on two coasts (Boston & Los Angeles) learning from industry experts and working internships at traditional and new media companies. Our alums have most recently landed at Hulu, Bloomberg, Twitter, Wasserman, iRobot, Omelet, Group Nacion, PlutoTV and other cutting-edge media and tech companies.
Students may opt for a 12-month master's program or a two-year dual MS/MBA.
Boston University is accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., one of six nationally recognized accrediting agencies.
In addition to the application requirements, international students must submit a TOEFL or IELTS exam (minimum score of 100 or 7.0) and an international student video.
