Program Description:

For nearly 40 years, the Mount has prepared professionals to meet the challenges of tomorrow's complex business world through an exceptional Master of Business Administration (MBA). The program focuses on problem-solving, communication, critical analysis, and ethical decision-making. Students have the option of pursuing a general MBA or selecting a concentration in finance, management, or marketing.

The 37 credit MBA program holds specialized accreditationthrough the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). The Mount's mission is to graduate students who are capable, responsible, methodologically sound, and ethical decision-makers. We do so through a case-study and simulation-based curriculum.

The program is part-time and designed for the working adult. Classes meet once a week in the evening or on weekends in a continuous cycle of 8-week courses.  

Classes are held at both the Emmitsburg campus and the Frederick campus, from 6-9:30 p.m.

Eligibility Requirements

Individuals wishing to apply for admission in the MBA program must hold a bachelor's degree in business or a related field* and should submit the following items:

  • Completed application; Apply online
  • Nonrefundable $35 application fee
  • Undergraduate transcript(s) from an accredited four-year institution; GPA of 2.75 or higher OR 5 full years of relevant experience; resume or brief statement of professional experience required OR 500 minimum score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT); submit official test scores
  • Additional requirements are applicable to international students
