The Emerging Leaders MBA (ELMBA) is a 1-year, full-time, accelerated Master of Business Administration program for exceptional students who have recently completed their undergraduate degrees, as well as those with early career experience or those in career transition. It is a cohort program designed for the academically talented individual with a keen interest in experiencing a rigorous MBA program that blends classroom coursework and experiential learning.
The 53-credit program includes 15 three-credit courses and eight additional credits of experiential learning. The program builds on the academic talents of its students and introduces them to a wide range of learning environments, including an international study tour. Internships, consulting projects, business plan development, and live cases.
The program is offered at our graduate center in Columbia, Maryland, a diverse, vibrant, culturally enriched, and globally aware community at the center of the Baltimore-Washington metro area. The region is known for innovation and entrepreneurship in the professional, technical, and scientific communities. Its unique location provides opportunities to develop partnerships and connections across diverse business sectors.
