Program Description:

A master’s degree in Applied Computer Science from Frostburg State University prepares you for exciting career opportunities with the government, in network security, web development and a host of other rewarding fields. Artificial Intelligence – Gain an introduction to knowledge representation and inference. Topics covered include logic, semantic networks, frames and rule-based reasoning. Natural language processing topics covered include pattern recognition, pattern association and computer vision.

Robotics and Computer Control – Receive an introduction to the field of robotics, including applications, safety and sensors. Explore languages models for CAD, computer-aided design, as well as speech recognition and generation. The course also covers integration of robots with artificial intelligence.
