Program Description:

The doctoral program in Francophone Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a dynamic, innovative and interdisciplinary one designed to give a broad knowledge of the Francophone cultures around the world. It covers regularly areas such as France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec, Acadia, Louisiana, the Antilles and Haiti, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Maghreb, and the Mediterranean, and offers a variety of approaches: literary, linguistic, critical, ethnographic and historical.
