The integration of technology within education and training and development is expected to increase demand for educational professionals in many industries.* Kaplan University’s Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology is designed to build professional knowledge and expertise in the design, development, and evaluation of instructional programs and materials. The program’s core courses teach design and development skills in the areas of technology, pedagogy, and management principles and practices. We offer both K-12 and adult learning specializations to help ensure your degree plan is relevant to your career path and goals. The adult learning specialization is further divided into two subspecializations that address higher education institutions and organizations, such as corporate, nonprofit, and military training environments, where the learning contexts are significantly different. Curriculum is updated regularly and faculty members all have PhDs and bring years of educational and practical experience to the classroom ensuring your knowledge is current and the experience is engaging.
