The Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry program is a joint venture among the Departments of Microbiology (College of Science, Carbondale), Medical Biochemistry (School of Medicine at Carbondale), and Medical Microbiology and Immunology (School of Medicine at Springfield). The program is designed to offer advanced training in biochemistry, biophysics, bacteriology, genetics, immunology, microbial physiology, mycology, molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, and structural biology.
