M.S.-Physician Assistant Studies

The Master of Science in physician assistant (PA) studies degree program is designed to provide students with an outstanding education in preparation for careers as general practice physician assistants, as well as to provide a foundation for leadership in areas of clinical practice, education and research. The innovative 33-month curriculum will utilize the extensive resources available at Rush University to provide an excellent training experience. The 12-month didactic phase will include lecture, small group discussion and simulation-based training models to prepare students for clinical rotations. The unique, 21-month clinical training portion will be completed at Rush University and its affiliated clinical sites, and will provide students with clinical opportunities in both a broad range of clinical practice areas, as well as in a focused specialty area of the student's choice.
