Master of Leadership Studies
We believe that leadership is the foundation to helping shape our students to become informed, involved, principled and productive members in today's society. Effective leadership is an essential ingredient of positive social change.
The Master of Leadership Studies (MLD) degree is designed to help you become a lifelong leader by giving you a broad understanding of leadership. You’ll learn to create solutions, discover new ideas and skills and develop the ability to engage and motivate others. You’ll also have the chance to explore content-specific areas in:
- Higher Education Leadership - preparing you for a successful career in college and university administration including student affairs, admission, financial aid, athletics, and academic administration.
- Professional Leadership - preparing you to develop a broadened perspective in ethics, social sciences and humanities to advance into leadership positions within a community, professional organization or the corporate world.
- Sports Leadership - preparing you for a career in a wide variety of sports-related areas, sport administrative roles, coaching or athletic programs; careers in the front office of sports organizations; and representing athletes in an agency capacity.
