Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction
Practitioners continue to face increasing expectations for ensuring that learners have appropriate content-rich experiences in multiple disciplines and that these experiences positively impact learner achievement.
The mission of the Curriculum and Instruction Program is to improve the ability of practitioners to support all learners through development of expertise in pertinent content areas and appropriate instructional pedagogy.
The NLU master's and certificate of advanced study in Curriculum and Instruction are designed for certified teachers and qualified non-certified preK-12 educational professionals who want to expand their skills and understandings in one of the following concentrations:
* ESL/Bilingual Education
* Personalized Option
* Health Education
* School Nurse
* Science Education
* Social Studies Education
* Teaching for Conceptual Integration
