Loyola University Chicago
Graduate School of Business
M.B.A./M.S.A. - Accounting
The dual M.B.A./M.S.A. degree provides students with a depth of knowledge in financial and public accounting, and the breadth of business knowledge sought by accounting and financial professionals. Applicants for the dual degree should submit a single application to the Graduate School of Business. Current M.B.A. or M.S.A. students may also seek admission to the dual degree program but should do so as early in their studies as possible. Students work with an advisor to plan their program of study.
The dual degree in business and accounting requires four fewer courses than if each degree were earned separately. Students completing the dual-degree program will earn an M.B.A. with a specialization in accounting and an M.S.A. degree. A maximum gap of one quarter is allowed between the completion of one program and the start of the other.
