As a dedicated teacher, your work extends beyond the classroom. Your leadership helps make a positive impact, supporting your community's educational growth. While some educators may choose to pursue positions in administration, you want to continue teaching — and lead from the classroom. Lewis University's Master of Education in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership is designed to prepare professional educators for leadership roles as teachers. Teacher-leaders collaborate productively with colleagues, inspire their students and fellow educators, and influence their communities. As a student in the Curriculum and Teacher Leadership program, you will explore topics such as: •The critical role that classroom teachers can play in transforming education •Research-based solutions to the issues faced by your education community •Developing curriculum for effective classroom instruction You will also complete 100 clinical hours, adding to your teaching experience
