Master of Public Administration: Criminal Justice
Our Master of Public Administration: Criminal Justice concentration prepares public service professionals to address issues in the criminal justice field through socially responsible administration, management,
advocacy, or research. The program gives students training in public administration, financing, organizational leadership, ethics, economic analysis, policy development, and research methods—all indispensable
for creating transformative change in the public arena.
Our innovative program meets the standards of the Higher Learning Commission and offers an academically rigorous curriculum that prepares students for leadership roles at all levels of public service, with an
emphasis on crime control and prevention, rehabilitation and re-entry services for the formerly incarcerated, research, and program evaluation.
We offer a unique approach to addressing criminal behavior: collaboration between communities, mental health services, and the criminal justice system. Our immersive teaching environment brings together classroom learning with opportunities to gain real-world experience and implement solutions grounded in empirical findings.
