Program Description:

The Department of Oral Biology offers master of science and doctoral degrees.

The program’s goals are to:
• Provide graduate-level didactic instruction in the basic sciences.
• Provide instruction in hypothesis development and scientific methodology.
• Provide research opportunities applying the scientific method to an oral health problem.

For students already holding a clinical degree, the research component and didactic instruction will enhance understanding of the clinical courses in dental specialty programs.

Financial aid is available. Graduate students use the standard application process for federal aid, scholarships, and the HOPE Scholarship Programs (if applicable). As a graduate student, you may qualify for scholarships, loans, and employment.
