The Master of Arts Degree in Art Education has three different program plans designed to train for leadership in one of several roles: Artist/Teacher, Arts Administrator, Research Curriculum Specialist in Art, Program Design Specialist in Art, Community Arts and Expressive/Healing Arts. The M.A. Program in Art Education through interfacing with other academic disciplines within the university, is an interdisciplinary degree combining the skills and knowledge of visual arts, education, social science and medicine.
