Program Description:

The Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) degree with concentration on early childhood special education focuses on issues and best practices in early childhood special education. The program prepares individuals to work with young children with disabilities and their families in inclusive, collaborative, and natural environments. Graduates will be eligible for the State of Florida Endorsement in Pre-Kindergarten Disabilities (Pre-K ESE). The course of study consists of 30 credits over seven terms (includes two summers).


Teacher Education Programs in the School of Education are approved by the Florida Department of Education. The University of Miami is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
