The College of Education offers a Master of Arts in Art Education. The program is planned to provide the art-oriented person with a degree that includes certification. The program meets all state certification requirements. The MA also includes a Community College Teaching Track, which is designed for individuals planning to teach at that level and not requiring state teacher certification.
The College of Education offers a master’s program in Art Education, leading to a Master of Education (MEd) degree. The MEd degree is designed to meet the expanding needs of the art teacher. Students in the program examine contemporary problems in art education, review recent curriculum developments, study innovations in art education, explore interdisciplinary concepts, and become involved in research problems specific to the art teacher. This degree requires previous certification in art.
International Student Requirements:
International students are required to provide the International Services Center (ISC) with several immigration documents and forms required for the issuance of the I-20 or DS-2019.
International students must demonstrate their proficiency in the English language. International students, except those who are from countries where English is the only official language, those who have earned a degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university, or those who have earned a degree from a country where English is the only official language or a university at which English is the only official language of instruction
