Program Description:

Lynn University's Master's of Education in Exceptional Student Education is a program that produces graduates who, as teachers, are able to address the needs of this increasingly diverse student population. Exceptional Student Education represents a distinct category of certification provided by the State of Florida Department of Education. Through our M.Ed. in ESE, you'll complete 27 credit hours of course work that focus entirely on Exceptional Student Education, providing you with the skills to work with students who may be emotionally handicapped, mentally handicaped or learning-disabled. By developing these advanced competencies in ESE education, graduates are able to use critical thinking skills to understand and employ a variety of knowledge bases to deal with contemporary issues, problems and dilemmas in diverse learning environments, and can provide leadership for innovative programs to coordinate professional activities to better serve these students.
