Program Description:

FlU's School of International and Public Affairs is scheduled to launch a new professional Master of Arts in Global Governance in Fall 2011. The program will focus on globalization and the issue of security as a fundamental human need. This high-quality, 36-credit professional degree program will explore how globalization has broadened and intensified the scale and character of modern-day security challenges to include migration and refugee flows; environmental changes and resource scarcity; transnational crime and terrorism; poverty; and natural and man made disasters. The program will not only tackle these important topics, but at the same time it will provide you the practical skills needed for your future career - skills such as policy analysis, budgeting, methodologies, grant and professional writing, and presentation skills. The program will prepare you for careers in the private and public sectors, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and non-profit organizations that are now at the forefront of global public affairs.
