Program Description:

The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction program provides advanced study in education and is designed to improve the competency of teachers, to encourage research and to initiate and implement programs involving the schools and the community. This program has concentrations in: English, math, science, social studies, secondary education, and elementary education.

International Student Requirements:

TOEFL or IELTS scores if earned bachelor's degree outside the US in a country where English is not the official language. 4-year regionally accredited undergraduate degree. 1 of the following: a GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 undergraduate semester hours; or a combined score of 1000 or higher on the quantitative and verbal sections of the GRE; or a 400 or higher on the MAT; or a regionally accredited graduate degree. Note: All applicants must submit GPA and graduate admission (GRE or MAT) test scores. 3 recommendations from professionals in the field. Professional certification or completion of certification eligibility requirements, including course work and passing scores on the required Florida Certification Exams.
