Program Description:
This MS program enables students to understand a variety of exceptionalities at all grade levels and learn effective strategies to instruct and challenge students to improve and maximize their learning potentials. This 36–credit program is designed for those who do not have a bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education and are seeking initial certification. Students can also complete coursework for the Gifted or Autism Endorsements (Florida State Approved Endorsements).
The PhD in Leadership and Education with a specialization in Exceptional Student Education is designed for individuals who aspire to have leadership, teaching, and/or research positions in Special Education. This 54-credit program includes coursework in leadership, research, Exceptional Student Education and a dissertation.
