Program Description:
The MS and EdS in Educational Leadership are 36-credit programs and can be completed in two years. Both degree programs are open to certified and non-certified educators (non-certification track). The program integrates the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to become an outstanding leader of public and non-public educational institutions. Upon completion of the degree in the certification track, students will have eligibility for Florida Educational Leadership Certification, Level I.
The EdD in Organizational Learning and Leadership with a specialization in Educational Leadership is a practitioner’s doctoral program designed to develop outstanding educational leaders who are creative and competent change agents, committed to advocacy, and attentive to social justice issues within the PK-12 environment. The 54-credit program offers courses in the evening and includes an action-research capstone project that replaces the traditional dissertation.

All of the Barry University School of Education graduate programs are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The MS and EdS in Educational Leadership are approved by the Florida Department of Education. Completion of the Educational Leadership (certification track) program provides a candidate with eligibility to obtain the Florida Department of Education’s Educational Leadership Certification, Level I.
