The Masters of Science in Investigations combines courses from the Forensic Science and Criminal Justice programs to create an innovative new graduate program to prepare students for careers in investigations or advancement in the field of investigations. This professional area of education is one of the areas of strength within the Henry C. Lee College and represents a unique program in high demand.
Investigation is a broad interdisciplinary field in which students learn how to identify, collect and analyze evidence in civil and criminal cases. The program includes three concentrations: Criminal Investigations, Financial Crime Investigations and Computer Forensic Investigations. Each concentration focuses on a specific area of specialized investigations and is designed to prepare students for investigative careers in one of the areas.
The program will initially support three areas of concentration or specialization:
- Criminal Investigation
- Financial Crimes Investigations
- Computer Crime Investigations
These specializations represent the major categories of employment for Investigators, and are designed to prepare students to enter or advance in these alternative career paths.
