Program Description:

A nationally recognized leader in experiential education, the University of New Haven offers a master's degree program in engineering and operations management which seamlessly bridges theory with hands-on application that allows graduates to be not only productive, but leaders in their chosen industry. 

With a strong emphasis on project-based learning, this unique program was developed for students aspiring for professional growth in managing operations and organizations in the global market by creating a unique blend of state-of-the-art engineering methodologies with key components of business-related topics including finance, marketing, and management theory.

Especially valuable to professional individuals with a number of years of experience in industry and entrepreneurs, applicants are required to hold a four-year baccalaureate degree in engineering or a related field.

This program is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Accreditation of an institution of higher education by the New England Association indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality periodically applied through a peer review process. An accredited college or university is one which has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purposes through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. International Student Requirements:

Graduate/Post-Graduate international applicants seeking a master's degree must submit official certified or attested copies of all university/college records with a proof of bachelor's degree completion. For non-English transcripts, a word-for-word certified or attested English translation in the same format as the official document is required. An official evaluation of foreign academic credentials for all university-level academic work done outside the United States is highly recommended. All non-native English language speakers must demonstrate English language competency by providing a TOEFL score of 75 on the internet based test (iBT) or IELTS score of 6.0. Completion of ELS Language Center Level 112 is also accepted in lieu of either the TOEFL or IELTS for most graduate majors except for the M.S. program in Human Nutrition-Nutritional Genomics, the M.S. program in Cellular and Molecular Biology and the Ph.D. program in Criminal Justice.
