Program Description:

Allow your skills to shine with the cutting-edge training you need to succeed in public relations and strategic media. Earn your Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Public Relations.

Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Public Relations (MASCPR) students learn to communicate effectively through a variety of media platforms, including social networks, multimedia websites, and other methods of traditional and online or mobile communication.

Complete your degree in as little as one year, while continuing to pursue your career.

  • Program runs on an eight-week module calendar.
  • Classes are designed for working professionals and meet Monday-Thursday from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
  • Full-time students take two courses per module: attend class two nights per week and graduate in one year
  • Part-time students take one course per module: attend class one night per week and graduate in two years

SCPR students learn about real-world strategic communication campaigns and issues. We combine hands-on learning with an analytical approach to give students the experience and deep knowledge they need to compete and excel in the ever-changing 21st century communication and media industries.

SCPR students complete an internship and create a digital portfolio as part of a curricular strategy in which students are immersed in a professional setting in order to get advanced practical training and real world results.

Blended Courses and Flexible Scheduling
SCPR courses combine once a week face-to-face classes with online work allowing students flexibility as they pursue their degree. With convenient 8-week sessions scheduled year-round, students can finish in one or two years, building a professional portfolio along the way.

Students graduate with a portfolio of digital multimedia materials that demonstrates to potential employers that SCPR graduates are highly skilled, knowledgeable, communicators.

SCPR graduate students will receive a Macbook Pro laptop running the latest Microsoft, Apple, and Adobe Creative Suite software.

International Student Requirements:

TOEFL or IELTS results are required from all applicants who completed their previous degrees in a country where English is not the official and spoken language. The TOEFL equivalent requirement is 7.0. A copy of your passport, a sponsor letter and a bank letter is needed to promptly receive an I-20 visa.
