Program Description:

At CU Denver, graduate students approach civil engineering from a specialized viewpoint. Graduate specializations include construction engineering and management, environmental and sustainable engineering, geomatics and geographic information systems, sustainable infrastructure, geotechnical engineering, hydraulics and hydrology, structural engineering, and transportation.

Students can work toward a master of science, master of engineering, doctorate in civil engineering, or doctorate in engineering and applied science.

You'll get hands-on experience in the field or the lab with a flexible program designed to fit your busy life. We're located in the heart of the city and continue to build relationships with local industry; our students have access to real-world projects before completing their program. 


Undergraduate programs are ABET accredited.

International Student Requirements:

Any applicants whose undergraduate language of instruction was not English should have a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of: 600 for the paper-based test; 250 for the computer-based test; TOEFL iBT: 75; IELTS: 6.5; or successful graduation from CU Denver¹s Language Academy.
