Our faculty conducted over $10 million in research this past year, creating many exciting opportunities for students to work on cutting-edge research and problems that affect today’s world. The Department offers several opportunities for graduate students to help with their tuition and living stipends, including the prestigious NSF I-WATER IGERT grant funding 30 scholarships totaling over $4 million, and graduate assistantships. The department awarded 40 graduate scholarships totaling more than $88,000 for 2011-2012, in addition to funding 50 GRAs and 15 GTAs.
