Program Description:

The Part-Time MBA at the University of San Francisco is focused on providing you with a world-class education without compromising your life as a working professional. Through experiential learning opportunities, practitioner-focused concentrations, and a strong connection to the city’s thriving business sector, we will prepare you to build more productive and compassionate organizations.

Learn to integrate and apply knowledge from a variety of disciplines in order to analyze pertinent issues that concern today’s global business environment. The program combines a foundational core curriculum with a broad elective curriculum that allows students to develop expertise in a selected field of study. Available concentrations include: Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, International Business, Marketing and Organization Development.

The Part-Time MBA boasts an interdisciplinary curriculum and a variety of practical real-world applications so that you can immediately implement at work what you learn in the classroom. From rapidly changing technologies to IDEO-design centered approaches, you will master the many facets of business outside of your current area of expertise to graduate a broadly experienced and visionary manager.

Our faculty bring a range of professional experience in the private sector and will greatly expand your existing knowledge of business functions and strategy. Benefit from the rigorous academic tradition and social justice values of a Jesuit university, as well as the dynamism and diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area. The USF MBA faculty consists of entrepreneurs, consultants, researchers, and business leaders who provide insights across multiple industries and sectors: public, private and nonprofit. USF students grow in their understanding of project and people leadership while simultaneously learning to think beyond the bottom line to the common good.

Students can also gain unparalleled insights into the political, legal, economic and cultural dimensions of doing business overseas through an Academic Global Immersion. Additional experiential learning opportunities are available through participation in a variety of student clubs and organizations.
