University of San Francisco's Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program is dedicated to educating you to lead from both technical and managerial viewpoints. Grounded in ethical practice and professionalism, our comprehensive curriculum will give you the skills to improve your organization through the effective and efficient management of information systems and technology. Prepare to provide leadership in the Information Systems field by recognizing the interplay between information and organizational cultures.
The MSIS program offers integrated courses that provide you with the knowledge to take a leadership role in information systems. The effective use of information systems is an integral part of an organization's and an individual's ability to achieve a competitive advantage in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. The MSIS curriculum investigates how policy and strategic decisions are affected by information systems and how technology is transforming organizations.
The program is based on nationally approved curriculum recommendations form the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and is updated frequently to keep our students on the cutting edge of technology.
USF's MSIS program offers an optional concentration in Information Security or Biotechnology. The program is available at University of San Francisco's San Jose Campus. Classes are taught on weeknights to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. For more information, visit our website.
