Program Description:

The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction offered by Pacific’s Gladys L. Benerd School of Education is a graduate-level, cohorted program designed for high- potential students who wish to complete a preliminary teaching credential. Students typically advance through the program in three semesters (12 months), completing 35 units of challenging and innovative coursework.

The Benerd School offers advanced education curriculum that emphasizes applied research, experiential learning and close professional mentorship. Students choose a Single Subject, Multiple Subject or Educational Specialist credential path, allowing them to specialize in specific content areas. All students gain outstanding professional skills and knowledge by completing a student teaching experience or an Educational Specialist internship.
