Program Description:

The University of the Pacific Master of Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences program is a graduate-level program consisting of 28 or 32 units taught over four full-time semesters or on a part-time schedule. The Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences program includes a thesis or non-thesis option for completing a multidisciplinary survey of exercise science, sport management and sport pedagogy. Courses include perspectives from biology, education, management, physiology, psychology and sociology. Each student’s curriculum is individually designed to meet their objectives and often involves opportunities for experiential learning and collaborative research. Students acquire skills necessary for immediate success in sports-science careers and top doctoral programs across the country. Offered courses include Exercise Physiology, Applied Sport Psychology, Advanced Sports Medicine, Sports Law and Case Analysis in Sport and Fitness Management.
