Video game designers are professionals who have a good understanding of the video game industry; well-developed visual and design skills; and proficiency with the latest software technology. Career opportunities in this field are diverse and varied including designer, developer, tester, creative writer, programmer, and producer. If you have a passion for playing games and aspirations of being a game designer, this academy will give you in-depth exposure to the core of game design and content creation, and help you acquire practical and marketable skills. Developed and designed in association with UCR Computer Science Department faculty, noted for their independent ranking by Princeton Review as one of the top schools in the country to receive an education in game design, and The Game Developers Academy. This program offers approximately 100 hours of professional level instruction.
